OVERALL APPEARANCE’ Last time we checked, Christian was exactly 6 foot. Not too tall or short, but he tends towards the taller side. Christian weighs 213 pounds. He’s not an overly buff guy and doesn’t spend every possible at the moment as some do. That’s not to say he’s a total wimp or has no muscle. You can tell from looking at him that he has a good physique and is no stranger to the gym or working out, it’s just not is life. He makes sure though that it is known that he’s got some muscle one way or another. Once again, falling fairly in the middle of the two extremes.
His hair is just like the rest of him, perfect. Or as close as it can be. His hair is somewhere between a light brown and a blonde. In the summer it gets naturally lightened so it looks more like blonde, but in the winter, it darkens to a light brown. It’s most often styled perfectly some how or another before he leaves the house. It’s kept short and cropped; you’d be hard pressed to find him with shaggy hair. The second it gets too long he gets an appointment to have it cut. For some reason he just cannot stand to have it long. He looks fine with it that way, but it tends to annoy him, so he forgoes it for a shorter look most often.
Piercing hazel eyes belong to Christian, and they’re something else. They hold such an intensity and emotion in them that many people have trouble staring him straight in the eye for more than a few minutes. His eyes are the one thing to give him away when he lies, which we all know is too often. His entire face can remain expressionless, or hold one totally different from what he’s feeling, but his eyes do not. Both fortunately and unfortunately they’ll show you what he’s really feeling. Many would consider this his weakness, and so he tries to keep his eyes covered or hidden when telling a major lie. But the other side is that sometimes his emotions are so distorted and convoluted that even when properly shown, you can’t figure them out. But be wary, it is easy to read them wrong and wind up in the wrong situation.
His smiles, grins and smirks are a whole other story. He can shoot just about any girl one smile and have them basically fall at his feet in an instance. Normally they're carefree and comedic, sometimes charming. But when he's angry, he can shoot you a smile that makes you want to kill yourself. The perfect combination of malice, planning and anger. With that one look you start wondering what he's got in store for you, because that smile definitely says you've got something coming your way, and it ain't good. Such a scathing look is rarely used on people, more to his father than anyone else.

MY MIND ISN’T A SAFE PLACE’
LIKES’ getting his way, gorgeous girls, sex, Italy, his car, parties, screwing with people’s emotions, dark chocolate, Cody, arguing, being entertained, teasing girls, making the rules, and the newspaper (oddly enough).
DISLIKES’ Being told what to do, ugly people, unpopular people, losing (though it happens so rarely), people who can’t dress, those who have money but don’t use it, white chocolate, DC, his dad, classical music, cheap stores (aka Walmart), boredom, perfect people, goody two shoes and cough syrup. Can’t stand that stuff.
HOBBIES’ Christian really enjoys playing Polo, it's one of the sport that his father deems 'appropriate' for him to play. Oddly enough, that doesn't discourage him and he loves it. As for other hobbies, Christian rarely sticks with anything long enough to truly develop it as a hobby. I guess you could add reading to the list, but really, it's only what he does when there are no people to mess with. Screwing with peoples' lives is his one true hobby, besides Polo that is.
SECRETS’ Christian has a lot of secrets, a lot of stuff to keep hidden from the outside world. The biggest things are really well, two things. First off, he does not like people knowing how close he and his mother are. It's because he doesn't want people to find a way to hurt him or his mother, and plus, he's Christian Calhoun. He doesn't do compassion, or at least, that's what everyone thinks. The other thing is that he doesn't want people to know that he's actually a person, deep down inside. For that's weakness, and with the knowledge that he actually has emotions, people can destroy him and this perfect, fragile life he's spent twenty three years creating. These aren't your usual secrets, but hey, Christian's not your average person. He's got tons of other tiny secrets because he rarely tells the truth, but compared to these two, those little white lies don't even matter.
PERSONALITY’ Ask anyone and they’ll tell you that the boy leads a charmed life. He seems to have everything handed to him, especially women. He’s a notorious womanizer and has no problem with the title; he won’t waste his time denying this truth. He is in one world a manipulator. He uses whatever he can to get what he wants and has no problem doing so. There is an issue of morals for most people but we’ve all begun to wonder if such a thing even exists for Christian.
He uses the charm and the money to get any girl he wants. Upon meeting them he’s the epitome of perfect. He’ll change his personality to suit whoever he’s talking to and manipulating, able to shirk personalities and don new ones as others would clothes. To the preps he’s as sweet and kind as he can be, to the sluts and whores as forward and teasing, and to everyone else he just layers on the charm as thick as it’ll go.
Christian’s not one to be incredibly fond of people as whole, he sees them as pawns in the game he plays. He’ll use them to get whatever or whoever he wants and will stop at nothing. Even though people will have been warned about his ruthless demeanor when they meet him and experience his charm they just can’t believe the rumors. And then when he leaves them without a word, no emotional words exchanged they wonder why the ever believed him. Christian’s become the winner of his game and an expert at it too, exploitation and manipulation are his ways of working and he’s mastered them, leaving many a girl heartbroken and he won’t remember them in two days. They’ll have become another name on the ever growing list, one that will never stop growing in its length.
His home life is far from perfect even though he won’t lead anyone to believe or know such a thing. His father is just like him so naturally the two hate each other. And most would expect him to hate his mother too, right? Alas, Christian fools us all once again. He and his mother share a strong bond and she could very well be the only one in this world the boy actually cares about. The only reason Christian ever comes home is for his mother, only tolerates his dad for her. That and he needs to learn the ropes in hopes of later taking over the firm. But Christian keeps this detail about his mother a secret, for if anyone ever discovered such a thing they could easily turn the world upside down for him and ruin it all.

PARENTS’ Father: Samuel A. Calhoun. Born to a wealthy family, young Samuel showed great intelligence and prospect for brilliance early on in the years. He was not much of a partier but close to the manipulator that Christian is. Married Janice at age 23, after graduating from Harvard. Next came law school and after that creating the empire. He is now the owner of Calhoun, Chambers and Stein, an elite law office. He specializes in intellectual property and trial law. His ability to manipulate witnesses and the jury, even times the judge has won him fame not to mention millions. He only keeps Chambers and Stein on board because they hold some worth and are old friends, perhaps the only ones he still has. He’s had Christian to try and groom him to take over the Company, but the boy resists every attempt he makes. Samuel has turned into a talented liar and unfaithful husband, not to mention horrible father. Except this all does not matter to him, as long as he’s still rich and winning, life is ok.
Mother: Janice Alice Calhoun (formerly Weston). Like Samuel, Janice was raised in a far too wealthy family, well educated and knew from the moment she became a woman that her profession was to be a wife. She is more like Samuel’s secretary now, with the exception that Samuel screws his secretary and not Janice. She plans his parties, entertains his clients, watches his diet, picks out his clothes and takes care of him the best she can. Janice has been forced to put up with a lot from her husband, his ever noticeable absence, adultery, and ruthlessness. But she puts up with it all because that’s what she was taught to do, from day one. She worries about the impact this has on her only son, Christian. She’s well aware of the boy’s “misbehavior” but loves him none the less, returning the odd affection he has for her.
SIBLINGS’ none, for now
EXTENDED FAMILY’ Uncles and Aunts who run so many businesses that Christian has forgotten to care. He's got a lot of family but rarely ever sees them. Thus far, none have been of any importance in his life, and he'd like to keep it that way.

HISTORY’ On August 23rd a beautiful baby boy was brought into the world with the parents of Mr. and Mrs. Calhoun. They named the boy Christian and held high hopes for his assured brilliance and cunning. Christian had far from a normal childhood. He was spoiled rotten, given everything he ever asked for. He was flown around the world whenever he simply mentioned the idea of taking a trip. Nothing has ever been hard for him; he was even tutored through elementary school as a young boy. When he turned 13 his father decided it was time to thrust him out into the real world and he was enrolled in a private school. At this time the family was living in Washington D.C. whilst Samuel worked with several high profile clients.
His father was never home more than a week in all of Christian’s life until the family moved from Orange County to D.C. Quite a change, I assure you. With his father home all the time, the boy turned even more rude and annoyed than usual, he and his father arguing every chance they got, often destroying many items around the home in the process. This was also the time that Christian discovered girls and so he made sure he was home less and less. The child was instantly popular anywhere he went, and became accustomed and welcoming to the fact. He became quite the little player by age fourteen and easily lost his virginity not soon after. He became more moody and brooding with his father home all the time now, and so he turned sour towards his family. Worrying for Christian and Samuel, Janice was able to convince Samuel to move them here. She was sure that the “small town” feel would put the two of them at ease.
The family moved here when Christian was 15 and they have lived here ever since. Christian tolerates the place, liking it much better than D.C. but still preferring his home town of Orange County. He was born to stand out and doesn’t hide the fact, instantly making numerous friends wherever he goes and here was no different. This town gave Christian the perfect opportunity to perfect his exploitation skills and stay as far away as possible from his father. Samuel hates the town which causes Christian to wonder if it’s not such a bad place after all. His dad wants to move as soon as possible but Janice has put her foot down about something for once and insists they stay here. She feels it best for Christian to finish high school all at one spot before totally uprooting their family once more. Due to his dislike for the town, Samuel often takes cases as far away as he can get; most of the time staying at their old house in D.C. This has made for a slightly happier Christian, his mood instantly darkening when his father returns. Lately those instances have become fewer and fewer, pulling Christian out of the brooding silence he held in D.C. Happy with the change and the town, Janice is glad she moved the family here though she misses her husband.
Christian stayed here for the rest of his high-school years. They were good ones too. Not the best perhaps, but he made them look like the best. His popularity ever continued and he never ran out of girls to fool and fool around with. Sure, he would randomly disappear from time to time when he needed a new set of girls or got tired of this place, but for the most part his life was stable. Or as stable as possible for him. He left for college, attending Princeton back in the states, getting his degree in Law and his minor in Political Science. This was all of course, at his dad’s insistence. But recently out of college, Christian decided he needed a break. He can work from home and Whistler has the best memories for him of all the places he’s lived, so he would up here. He purchased their old house and now comfortably inhabits it, much to his father’s dismay. He also owns a cute little cabin a little bit out, and that’s where he takes girls at night. First off it’s much more romantic, and secondly, he doesn’t like women knowing where he lives. They like to either go crazy-stalker on him, or try to exact revenge.
Even though there is always the option of such, throughout all these years the great Christian has yet to date a girl for more than two weeks. Few even make it to the point of dating and are often tossed aside after they loose their use. Even when dating the boy fools around as much as he wants, not caring about feelings what so ever, he has none, remember? His lack of commitment is often attributed to his father. Even though Samuel is married, he is quite unfaithful to Janice. Seeing the hurt it causes her, Christian has commitment phobia. He worries that he’ll end up hurting someone he might love or even worse, turning into his father. So he remains what most would call a player though he doesn’t view himself as such. Breaking hearts is what he does, and he’s unsure of doing anything else.

Jon's grin grew quite a bit at Annabelle's response as he hugged her back. Now of course it was just a friendly hug, he got tons of those. But some weird part of him wished it was just a bit more. But there was nothing really he could do to change that now, right? He cast a glance downward when he heard the sound of a yap. He saw that it was an adorable little puppy that looked to be like a beagle puppy. He pet her softly and gently on the head before he returned his thoughts to Annabelle. When she introduced someone he realized it was the dog, silly him. He smiled and told Annabelle,
Nice to meet you Sophia.
And with that he reached down and took hold of her tiny puppy paw and shook it, a look of laughter on his face as he did so. Then he looked back up at Annabelle, giving the puppy another reassuring stroke on her head as he said,
She's adorable.
And then to continue in the joking vein he was in, his hands covered her soft little puppy ears as he whispered, as if he didn't want Sophia to hear,
But not as adorable as you. Shhh, we don't want her to hear.
He started walking with her as she set off. It had really been too long of a time since he had seen her. Alright, so maybe like a week and a half or so, but still, she was such a great person that he liked to spend time with her more frequently. Out of most of his friends she was by far the most intelligent, and sometimes it was good just to talk to someone who's mind was not either: one, clouded with thoughts of sex (most of his guy friends) or two, giggly and sometimes a bit idiotic (most of his female friends). He liked sitting down with Annabelle over coffee or lunch and being able to discuss things that you couldn't catch on the MTV news. I mean it wasn't bad, don't get him wrong, it was just nice to be intelligent for a while. He turned his head towards her when she commented and asked about lunch. He gave a nod of his head and told her,
Given.
Jon always really enjoyed their lunches because he just liked being around the girl. Something about her just made him light up and become more open and articulate. Maybe it was because she was normally quieter and a bit more conserved than the bubbly talkative girls he had become accustomed to hanging out with. It was probably that, she just gave him a chance to be bright and open, something he didn't get to do so often but wished he did. So it happened that their two personalities balanced out somewhere near perfect, though no one was perfect of course. For whatever the reason, time spent with Annabelle was just different and quite enjoyable.
As the girl briskly took off in some direction of the mall, a grin played on Jon's all too cute face as he lengthened that long stride of his to easily catch up with her. He had glanced back at someone he thought he had known and then heard Annabelle speaking. He turned his head to face her with a
Hmmm? What?
It took him a moment to register exactly what she had said and what, or whom, she was referring to. Then he gave her a look like she was crazy and shook his head, sending his shaggy dark brown hair cascading into his eyes once more. He tried to correct her by saying,
Me, cute? Naw, wrong guy there.
And he wasn't saying that just to get more compliments; it was spoken in all honesty. It was almost a bit sad that he wasn't aware of his looks because then perhaps he would have a few more girlfriends. But he'd learn about it someday, right? His attention was drawn away from the comment, instantly forgotten as she once more prompted lunch. He paused and pretended to think about it, stroking his chin in mock thought. When she said that she was paying he gave a nod and teased,
Well that seals the deal! Now where shall we dine this fine afternoon?
He gave her an adorable grin that got him a few more looks from girls passing by. He just shrugged it off, thinking that some one far more attractive was behind them. As they walked his thoughts drifted off to what he had the rest of the week. Homework, basketball, and then friends. And maybe some sleep in there somewhere. And it was true, sometimes he was brought along just to be seen with, or make others jealous. And a lot of times it was just trying to drop him hints that they liked him and for him to make a move. But as you can already tell, Jon's not really so great on subtly. The comparison was a good one, in a way Jon was a lot like a puppy. Adorable and super sweet. But also a little clueless at time. Loyalty was in there too, though he didn't wag his tail and pant. Well, not too often at least. Just kidding. And they were a few rumors sometimes about Annabelle's relationship with him, and just how close they really were. He'd brush them off; he was used to such accusations by now. It was nothing new to him and he was glad to see it didn't bother Annabelle. Though for some reason some girls enjoyed the rumors if they concerned them, again for a reason he was unaware of. Ah how clueless he really was when it came to girls...
