OVERALL APPEARANCE’
Long blonde hair can be seen gracefully falling to about her shoulder blades. It is sometimes slightly curled but most of the time Arielle just likes to keep it in a ponytail or braids. She wasn’t the one to do much with hair. It was often lighter in the summer due to the sunrays, Arielle rarely ever wore a hat just to be able to get those natural streaks. Her crystal blue eyes were often accented by a hint of mascara and eyeliner. When they sun fans her face her eyes sometime sparkle. All the emotions she felt could be seen through her eyes, it was one of her weaknesses. Her soft, smooth skin didn’t tan easily; she was slightly darker when she went to the beach but maybe by half a shade to a full shade darker.
Arielle wasn’t very tall, at her full height without shoes she was 5’1”. She weighted 110 pounds. Her favorite guideline was to eat in moderation and until your full and for Roxie that just wasn’t a lot. She’d eat half a plate but still she’d be full. Not that she would ever complain about this. Her favorite thing to eat though was chocolate covered pretzels and she could often be found around munching on one.

PERSONALITY’
Arielle is a very happy person, she can often be found talking about everything and anything with whomever that wants to listen. She is often known for rambling on about different subjects. She is very headstrong and stands her ground. She won’t let anyone push her around, ever. This is defiantly a girl who knows how to have fun and have a good laugh. She can even makes others laughed quite easily.
But when she is in a bad mood, watch out. It's a war zone, she is irritable and often just yells. This rarely ever happens but when it does, duck and cover. Although, she is known for her smile.
She also tends to be too naive. Arielle can believe people whenever they say something. It has caused her much sadness, she gets hurt by guys easily. Arielle has been this was since she was young. People usually take advantage of her.
Arielle is a hopeless romantic. She has never been in love but she knows that when it’s going to happen she will be glad. She has kissed a few guys but they have never meant anything to her. Not many people know that she has never been in a serious relationship. She doesn’t brag about it.
She also tends to be quite hyper. Often at times she is hyper for no reason at all. It’s part of the ADHD. As a kid she drove everyone nuts because she couldn’t control when she was hyper.

HISTORY’
On March 7th in New Westminster a little girl was born. Her name? Well it was Arielle Marie. Her parents were overjoyed, they already had one daughter and now they had a second miracle. Over the years Arielle was later joined by Celia and Alexandre.
Her family is French-canadian. They moved to British Columbia from Québec when Angélique was 2. Since then they have been living in Burnaby in a quaint house that had enough room for the whole family. Her childhood was spent happily, she got along great with Celia. They grew up as best friend, partly because they are so close in age.
When she was five, Arielle soon went to school. It was all French until fourth grade. Althought, there was some reason she never did well in school. Her parents soon went to the doctor and they found out she was ADHD. Arielle is not ashamed about this. Even if she hasn’t told anyone, she is fine with it. Arielle is just afraid of peoples reaction.
During her high school days, Arielle could be found at Metro Town (mall in Burnaby, BC) or at Whistler. She soon found a passion for skiing and was up on the slopes most weekends. A few years later she picked up snowboarding and now did both sports.
When she heard she had the chance to go to school at Whistler she soon grabbed the chance and started attending the University of Whistler. She also applied for SFU and UBC. But when she got her acceptes letter from UOW she knew that it was the moment to go.
She moved up in the dorms since the sea to sky highway was to dangerous to go up everyday. She misses her family but loves the snow. During her freshman year she decided she wanted to be a teacher. So now she is studying to become one.

When you think of Christmas holidays the first think that probably comes to mind is snow, gingerbread cookies, family and cold night by the fireplace. But for Ariel Sophia Burke it meant sand, sun and time to read.
Ariel’s family usually took a vacation, somewhere in Mexico most of the time. They usually left a few days before Christmas and came back after New Years. And this year they had picked Playa Del Carmen, just a 45 minute drive from Cancun. It was the only time of the year that the whole family was on vacation. And her parents, who hated the cold, enjoyed running away it was a tradition that Ariel didn’t mind at all.
Ariel was just 16 years old and was quite shy. Some might even call her anti-social but she just didn’t like going out. Most girls have experienced their first kiss by the age of 16 but not Ariel. Boys seemed secondary to what seemed really important in life. She hadn’t even ever been to a party. She was a straight A student and waited to keep her grades up. Even if it meant sacrificing her social life. It was a reason that she didn’t have a lot of friends. Also an other reason was because it took a while for her to actually trust someone.
She sighed looking at other kids her age hanging out. Her sapphire blue eyes hidden by a pair of sunglasses and her brown hair was up in a messy ponytail. She wished she had the courage to just go up to them and introduce herself. But she was afraid of being judged and unaccepted. So she sat on her chair reading…again.
Ariel could often be found reading. She read 4 books a week most of the time. Her record stands to be 8 books in one week. It was one of her passions. She enjoyed getting away from the real world and just read about someone else’s problems. Today the book was by Sarah Dessen but tomorrow it would be Meg Cabot’s newest novel.
“Ariel, are you coming to the pool with me?” Her younger sister asked, Ariel put the book down thinking it over. She wasn’t much of a swimmer and usually always got burned by the sun when she did. “I don’t think so,” She answered pushing her sunglasses closer to her nose. “Come on, don’t be a party pooper” Jeannie said jumping up and down.
Well what would be the harm with going for a quick swim? She was getting quite hot and it would be refreshing. “Well, alright. I’ll go” Ariel answered putting her iPod away and her book on the chair.
She got up adjusting her tankini top and followed her sister to the pool. It had a marvelous view of the ocean and the water was quite warm. She jumped in swimming around a few times before going and sat on the stairs. This was going to be a long trip or at least it seemed that way.
